Atom Uniacke was born on May 5, 1984 in London, England to actress Rosamund Pike and actor Robie Uniacke. His father is of Scottish and Irish descent, while his mother is English. Growing up, Atom attended a number of prestigious boarding schools in England and Switzerland before enrolling at the University of Cambridge in 2002. While at college, he studied mathematics and physics before graduating with honors in 2006.

In 2016 Atom starred as Colin Firth’s son in the romantic drama The Love Interest opposite Emma Roberts and Julianne Moore. That same year he also appeared in Sebastian Schipper’s drama Disobedience opposite Ruth Negga and Rachel Weisz. Most recently, Atom starred as Augustin Valjean in Baz Luhrmann’s wide-release adaptation of Victor Hugo
